Privacy Notice

Hyunseok Bae provides WORDaLIVE and is the data controller for personal data processed through the service.

Personal data we collect

We may collect account data such as name, email address, login identifiers, profile image, approval status, and purchase history; service content such as speech transcripts, translations, reference materials, venue settings, and display settings; support messages; usage records such as time balance, time ledger, feature usage, device information, browser data, IP address, and security logs.

How we use data

We use personal data to create and manage accounts, provide real-time transcription and translation, maintain teleprompter and viewer displays, process time balances, provide support, improve the product, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and communicate service updates.

Legal basis

We process data where necessary to perform our contract with you, based on legitimate interests in operating and securing WORDaLIVE, with consent where required, and to meet legal obligations.

Sharing

We share data with service providers and subprocessors that help host, authenticate, secure, analyze, and support the service. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for product sales, subscription management where applicable, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing. We may also share data with professional advisers and authorities where required by law.

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described above, including account operation, legal compliance, dispute resolution, security, and product records. Data is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including access controls and encrypted transport, to protect personal data. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect the service against unauthorized access and misuse.

Cookies and similar technologies

WORDaLIVE may use essential cookies or local storage for login, language, currency, theme, and security preferences. We may use analytics or diagnostic technologies to understand and improve service performance. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

Your rights
